Faith, Hope, and Charity

If you would gauge your development in understanding and doing Higher Emotions focus on faith, hope, and charity. See how they are literally new functions. See how they give you power you don't have now.

The following is a sketch...some word association:

Faith = new seeing/doing
Hope = eternal aim
Charity = toweringly contained

Note: it's common to write 'love' for the KJV 'charity', and I at first did, but since I value the language of the KJV and consider that it used words intentionally and in an inspired way I'll stay with charity. From Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary of American English the theological meaning of charity is:

In a theological sense, it includes supreme love to God, and universal good will to men.


Faith and hope also, as the definition of charity above, has as its object Father, Son and Word, and the Holy Spirit...
