Doors
"We are studying doors. Self-remembering is a door." Fourth Way - Ouspensky
"Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep." John 10:7
"...to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Luke 11:10
Much of biblical language is not practical or concrete. To be 'in Jesus', for instance. What does that actually mean? one asks. Or, even, 'Jesus is the way'.
Real I is Jesus. And anything that is the beginning of Real I, or on the way to Real I, is Jesus. Self-remembering is the beginning of Real I. Behind Real I is God. What a branch is to the vine. These real things (self-remembering, Real I) give concrete, practical meaning to biblical language. To the ultimate things.
