2nd Conscious Shock

This is probably the best way to see the difficult-to-define or describe 2nd Conscious Shock:

http://7holybooks.blogspot.com/2006/08/second-conscious-shock-insight.html

Accumulate, Contain, Transform higher energy.

Accumulate and Contain are part of the 1st Conscious Shock with the emphasis in the former on self-remembering and the latter on non-identifying (the 1st conscious shock involves both, but they are two sides of the same coin and one or the other can be the emphasis).

The metaphor of growth and harvest is apt. We talk of Real Will needing to be 'cultivated.' Like the Real Will that is coming into a state of self-remembering in the midst of a difficult, unpredictable event. Real Will is involved in the 2nd Conscious Shock. The post linked above goes into it.
