Emerging out of sleep and illusion and the power of false idols

To go along with the previous post I've been meaning to write something about how coming to ultimate knowledge (and ultimate influence) forces you to face reality finally. (I mean the subject has been on my mind off and on.)

By that I mean when you're still involved even with the realm of B Influence (and certainly A Influence) you're still being drawn by false idols and illusion of different kinds and degrees (like for instance "I'm going to write a bestseller" which is not a bad thing to want, but that - as an example and there are a million more much more subtle of course - is the 'atmosphere' or 'medium' in which you're operating. There may be a line of something real you are following in it, sometimes more apparent than other times, but basically you're still in a world of wanted illusion and sleep to one degree or another.

The Bible is a good example. When you arrive at the Bible in your journey through (up) B Influence you have reached the summit, like it or not. You really can't go anywhere else from there (but beyond summit, which is practicing the doctrine). You may get tired of the Bible and want to move in another direction, but you can't. You can't become a "follower of Homer" for instance (to put it in an exaggerated way). I mean, you can rebel from it and say I'm just going to get lost in science fiction influences, but that is going back to the realm of sleep, obviously. So, you have no where to go but forward (the situation of Man #4, of course).

It's the same thing where when you awaken you awaken to the realization that you're in a prison (the kingdom of Satan), and you have to deal with that or recoil from it and go back to sleep. Dealing with it doesn't mean you necessarily have to be defeatist about it and accept it, though, because you can enter the Kingdom of God. That requires discipline though. (Disciple.) The discipline of the faith. Which is just being what is symbolized by the knight. The armour (Eph. 6:10-18), the being contained; self-command, connection with God (having the Spirit in you), all the virtues and liberty described in the New Testament.

But when you accept this reality that you've come to you can (I have to speculate for obviously reasons) accept the worst of it. I mean without getting freaked out or depressed. (Obviously things can get pretty horrible in this world, anybody who just knows some history knows this, but we are where we are when we awaken and it's where we're supposed to be, or where our level-of-being puts us, and all that, and...if you've been able to awaken where you are it can't have been TOO bad, perhaps. Getting into the real horrible places and times requires some 'effort' I imagine, as in being a hardened bad customer...)

I may not have expressed my main thought with clarity here. It may have gotten lost. But it's a positive thought. When you come to face ultimate reality (and most people stay in sleep and illusion for life, because I'm NOT talking about 'growing up' and facing life responsibilities and being self-reliant and all that, because people who do that are just as much in a medium or atmosphere of illusion and false idols as anybody else) again, when you come to face ultimate reality and you have the knowledge and understanding and connection with what is real and is above you then you have everything to engage that reality and operate in it or transcend it even.
