what makes Work different 2

Though the post below may seem obvious, it really isn't. People who only know the Work don't generally know how much Christian theology goes into Work subjects and topics and ideas and practices, etc. Especially the experimental Calvinism practiced by the Puritans. (There is more awareness of more mystical categories of Christianity and Christian theology such as that found in the writings of the Philokalia, and other mystical traditions and works throughout the Christian era, and their connection to Work ideas, usually weak connections because not practical level, yet connections nevertheless. Yet connections between the Work and actual orthodox, Biblical doctrine as elucidated by orthodox (not Eastern Orthodox but orthodox) systematic theologians also exist. Often to a striking degree.)

But then it also may seem obvious that that level of exoteric Christian theology doesn't contain what is central to the Work, but until you actually see it it's not obvious.

It is striking to see that it is really the subject of the four kinds of energy that is the big difference. This is central to Self-Remembering (and Self-Remembering is the central aspect of the Work, so it's not surprising that the subject of energy - specifically energy of consciousness - is what separates the practical, esoteric level Work from exoteric level Christian teaching).

It's really the difference between Man #1,2,3 and Man #4. Exoteric Christian teaching is a teaching of and for Man #1,2,3. As a teaching it is everything because it saves souls. Once a real connection is made with the Spirit.

It's all, like it or not, Christian teaching though. And it all is involved with universal Absolutes that are the life-force of God Himself. And there is only One God. One Creator. One God sovereign in creation, providence, and grace. (Grace is the part in that that is needed to connect in a real way with Work teaching, and Biblical understanding prior to that.)

The Man #1,2,3 level of the teaching doesn't include separation and self-remembering and non-identifying and the process of accumulating and transforming energy of consciousness because Man #1,2,3 is not capable of any of that because Man #1,2,3 does not have the basic needed most minimum inner presence that is Observing I.

When we see time as living and existing as a stationary living block of life (so to speak) rather than as a fleeting train heading for death and the grave we can reconcile more easily in our minds that it is truly only a very few who catch on and connect to the Man #4 level at any given time or any given 'now' (however you want to put it). I.e. people in that living block of time are asleep but the potential for development is present because that block of time is always present and exists at higher level than the merely 4th dimensional linear birth-to-death line. So people aren't lost when they are still asleep. There is potential, within the higher perameters of God's Plan of course. They are dangerous, though. Any soul still in the prison of the Kingdom of Darkness will do the work of the Kingdom of Darkness, and part of that work is to dispirit and disuade those few souls who connect with the Way and are truly on it. They'll succeed too, if you allow them to.
