The ultimate goal: understanding
[an email]
I noticed you responded to my last email in 3 minutes. Not enough time to read it, let alone ponder it or memorize it, distilling the wisdom.
The most important thing I said is understanding is power in a glorified body.
That assumes you have faith that leads to salvation, one.
Then it assumes you're aware of an ultimate goal. We don't want to be the most awake person in hell.
So what is the Work goal? Azize ponders this in his interviews. He seems to conclude that the goal of the Work is to be made able to help others in their awakening and problems and so forth.
I'm more ultimate in my thinking.
I think the goal is understanding, which is power in a glorified body. I.e., what we do now in this fallen world and these fallen bodies is for future manifestation beyond physical death.
The Work talks of higher centers and subjective and ultimately objective consciousness. That is understanding.
All the bad behavior of our being can be observed from a vantage point of internal separation. This internal separation is the beginning of a new body. By that I mean if we are being the body that acts badly in Work terms we are not separating from that. We're in it when we should be observing it from a platform of inner separation.
We are to increase consciousness, understanding, and will, granted. All are power in a glorified body.
Yet I see understanding as the best focused goal. You can be awake and shallow. You can have the will of a Napoleon and be shallow. You can't have understanding, though, without having cinsciousness and will. I mean, true understanding, and true wisdom, are the real mark.
And I associate the subject matter of such objective understanding with God's Word itself, and his decree; and within his decree his intra-Trinitarian covenant that is the plan of salvation. The Covenant of Redemption, also called the Pactum Salutis. This is what the Apostle Paul meant when he said all he wanted to know was Jesus Christ. - C.

No response necessary, S., but this paragraph is so very big and solves so many problems:
"All the bad behavior of our being can be observed from a vantage point of internal separation. This internal separation is the beginning of a new body. By that I mean if we are being the body that acts badly in Work terms we are not separating from that. We're in it when we should be observing it from a platform of inner separation."
I (at least Observing I) should be observing 'it.'
But inner separation has to take place and be visualized.
'It' can't get with the program. 'It' is a creature of habit. Bad habits. 'It' takes in everything mechanically. 'It' has to explode accumulated energy explosively and negatively. 'It' internally-considers. Etc., etc...
If we're observing 'it' from an internal vantage point it takes the power from 'it.' 'It' begins to dissolve. Becomes a shade. The new body begins to take charge. Maybe Deputy Steward or Steward. Now you're into strange territory. Strange real I territory. Approaching it. And if you're manifesting the complete food octave all the way to the second conscious shock then you are giving the two higher centers what they need. The higher energy they run on.
But you're now sort of swimming around in an internal realm that leads to God. And that manifests what you experience externally. Imagine it. Visualization is needed at this stage. Or to get to this stage.
Suddenly in that internal realm you have real will. You have higher centers. You're filling up with real understanding.
But remember, your I is no longer at the external part of you as 'it.' That is where we're so use to being. Your I is now more internal and is becoming ultimately Steward and Master which puts you above time. - C.
