Something big on prayer

I had a realization on prayer. The Bible really does say if you ask for something in faith you will get it. I recall that in times past I've prayed for healing. My knees, for instance. I feared I had a bone on bone situation after really damaging both knees with running injuries, and I recall praying for healing. And I feel like I got it. Then just yesterday I recall that that was the time when I was *most* involved with self-remembering efforts. My really hard core Work stage back then. And it occurred to me (also, I should add that I read a Vos quote on angels that just pointed out how they are messengers, but it reminded me how angels are a conduit from God and how they can effect things in our physical life, save us from accidents, etc.) and, again, it occurred to me that for prayer to be really effective we have to make ourselves available to that angelic help which is like making ourselves available to C Influence, which means we have to be in the 3rd state of consciousness.


So I thought, that is the key. (As the two conscious shocks are the *key* to just about everything.)

The Bible also says that the prayer of a person of great faith has more effect. In so many words. So, if you pray for something, *and* you are in the third state which makes you available to the forces that could bring that prayer, or effect what you are praying for, then the prayer has more chance of happening.

When I was saved from a deadly car accident in a miraculous way (I've written about that before) that too was when I was right in the midst of my first Work stage where I was engaging in very dedicated self-remembering efforts.

I think this is a big thing to know and to practice.
