Not spurning the guidance of the Holy Spirit

I don't abandon anything of the faith, anything I've learned, that is all foundation and reality, but the more I've learned of the Christian faith and my own connection to it the more I value Work teaching and effort. It is not aberrant to the faith. It is the A,B,Cs of Christianity, as Mouravieff said Gurdjieff called it. It is the practical teaching with the mark of the Holy Spirit Himself in it. It requires the discernment that only comes from the Holy Spirit as well.

My recent insight that prayer is most effective when we are in the third state of consciousness because then C Influence - conscious influence - angels, messengers from God carrying influence from God, can reach you.

Also, and this is big, reading through 1 and 2 Corinthians recently I see the language of cosmoses so blatant in now Paul's teachings (it was all through the Gospels), and of course it is all the Holy Spirit's teachings.

The Work is involved with progressive sanctification and spiritual warfare at the practical level. This is a great gift to be made aware of such a teaching, a language, and to actually be given ability to understand it.
