General Law and the Law of God 3

I see the law now! I see it! It's death! I see its death. That big, black blob of the General Law! It is the Law!

(It's death for us. It's monstrous for us. Jesus could fulfill it, though. And His fulfilling it is imputed to us by faith. And, as the 'General Law' it is the Law of God as fallen man takes it and defaces it and turns it into the Village of Morality but with a more sinister and malevolent and malignant character. God's actual law is beautiful, but fallen man makes of it the General Law. It became a curse. And it's 'followers' vain hypocrite moralists. It can do nothing else in a fallen human being. One has to die to it and be driven to the only thing that can save one from it: faith in Jesus Christ. The only way to the Father and to salvation. [And if you just can't understand that learn Federal Theology and how Jesus from eternity was meant to fulfill the law in our place, etc., etc., and how the whole thing, the Plan, is designed to get us to develop in a real way, top-down.])

And regeneration by the Word and the Spirit effects it all. God does it. Though: move towards God and He will move towards you. He says that.
