Now/not yet ennui

The abiding theme, experience, (whine), etc., that everybody who awakens confronts of not having now what we have come into knowledge and understanding of; or the general experience of alienation from glory by being in a flesh tabernacle (or, to paraphrase a passage of C. S. Lewis: not just wanting to see a beautiful scene of nature but wanting to actually be a part of that beautiful scene, in some mythological sense, or to be it itself); or to use theological language the "now/not yet" aspect of the Kingdom of God; you are now in the Kingdom of God by faith, but not yet in terms of having a glorified body capable of experiencing the heavenly realm. Etc. The ennui of it all...ahh!

2 Corinthians 4 addresses this experience, and gives understanding of why this occurs, the need for it, and what real suffering effects, and so on.

On a more active take on this subject: you have to live now as if you are in the glorified realm now. This is the foundational practical use of Work ideas, practices, and goals. (Of the biblical teaching too when it is seen in its eschatological meaning and import.) Just contemplating and acting from Real Will (which comes down from above) is an example.
