Three-recurrence pattern
I downloaded Ouspensky's A Further Record from Amazon and was reading through the first section on recurrence. I'll just throw this out there, but in the spirit of recurrence being difficult to see in any other way than repetition, and going against that, I kind of saw three recurrences I've had when we look at recurrence in the context of our relationship with Work knowledge and practice. In one part of my life I encountered Work sources and rejected them. Yet I was deeply in B Influences. That is one recurrence. In another part of my life I encountered Work sources and embraced them. That is the second in a series of three recurrences we can have in the context of our relationship with the Work. In another part of my life, after a decade of deep study and effort with Work ideas and practices, which was part of the previous, or second, recurrence, I came into understanding of biblical doctrine and the plan of God. That is the third recurrence. I think that is a crown level. Inevitable if the three-recurrence pattern is completed.
In the first one I lived in a different city and was in the world.
In the second one I had come out of the world and was in the cosmos of school in a full-experience way.
In the third one I was not in my strength, was back in the world to some extent, dead end, disjointedly doing the only necessary thing.
