We all want to be contained in our approach

Use the image of the knight on horseback, with the armor of God. The Grail knight, ideally. The first conscious shock directs his horse, his course. Puts him in an environment where inevitably his is attacked. If he stays on his horse (emotion) and successfully repulses the attack (the second conscious shock) he finds himself in a higher realm. He's moving towards the Grail Castle. Or Mountain, or what have you.

We - the anti-Parzivals - freak out when we get attacked by six knights coming out of nowhere in black armor trying to cut us to bits. "What in hell have I done???!!!"

We run, or we fall off our horse. We say we're not really knights, so leave us alone. We're not up for this. They disappear. We're back in the worldly world. - C.
