Antichrist

Look at these citations.

It's a mark of unregenerate softening when one ceases to see or think of the Roman Catholic church and pope as antichrist.

This is not to say that there are zero Christians within the RCC, but they are doctrinally incurious which is a sign that conversion has yet to occur. I.e., they may be regenerate yet just not converted yet.

It's not for me to judge the heart of others, but the RCC itself certainly is the spiritual darkness and bondage of the kingdom of satan.

Islam plays its own role as antichrist as well. There are many, as Scripture says, but the RCC and Islam are the twin-headed major ones. Both are operating 'within the temple', so to speak. The RCC obviously; Islam less obviously, but if you know Islam is a Christian heresy that uses the Old and New Testaments as its foundation and to give itself legitimacy then you can see how this is.

Of course there are numerous secular antichrist organisations and people and phenomena in general as well...
