What is most important
I'm going to have a few false starts. I feel like I'm being drawn/pushed into a direction of doing now what is most serious. And that is what one most doesn't want to do. Usually. Yet what one knows one must really be doing.
What is most difficult? Those ditch-digging efforts to increase/develop consciousness and real will. For duration, depth, and frequency.
The pondering/meditation/visualization type reading of the Word of God is most important too. But I can also see returning to any of my rock-list 7 books as well. (Asterisks are number of times read.)

With a passing mention to Witsius' Economy of the Covenants Between God and Man. Because methinks it contains most of what I need to sew up the theological conquering at this point...
Things get crazy when I do duration self-remembering/non-identifying. But, that is the battlefield. Fear only God. Remember. Don't fear man. Fear of man is internal-considering and identification in general. Fear of man and the world. Fear only God. That is non-identifying. And external-considering. It's powerful. (Note: 'fear' as a biblical word also contains 'reverence'. Fear - actual fear - and revere only God. When you fear/revere man and the impressions/influences/illusions of the world you are identified with false idols. When you fear man and the world you are in bondage to man and the world. The Isaiah quote regarding fasting gets at this deeply (fasting in this sense being the practice of non-identifying and fearing only God):
Isaiah 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
The power for accomplishing the end game of the Work has to come from God. Fearing only God, and waiting on the Lord (the second conscious shock). Knowing vengeance is the Lord's and not your's. The actual lifeforce has to come from above, from God, if you are to separate from the world and the devil and the flesh (the flesh being vanity, worldly pride, and self-will within you that are the devil's controls within you).
Fearing only God is powerful, but it might get to where the world will want to stone you, but... So be it. Your forerunner is Jesus Himself, and He tells you to expect what He got...
