Gratitude and Work understanding 2

It's like instead of there being these connections solely between you and other human beings, like horizontal lines connecting you with other human beings, everything changes to where everything goes through God above, and the lines becomes vertical, from you to God and from God to the other human beings.

We're all created in the Image of God, and we deal with each other in a way to show gratitude to God and glorify God. But it's not moralism and it doesn't mean being some kind of slave to God, it a new mode of being. (Real I is that same vertical connection to God within us.) And we GET something from our vertical connection with God in these transactions with other beings, when we DO have the vertical connection and ARE acting from gratitude to God. (God is a pure Spirit of infinite perfections, remember. The Bible tells us this. Whenever God is made visible to humans as the Angel of the Lord (in the Old Testament) or a pillar of fire (in the O.T.) or as Jesus Christ (in the New Testament) it is the Second Person of the Trinity. God the Father is a pure Spirit. (And of course Jesus is God, in the mystery of the Trinity too.) And the Holy Spirit is God. The Holy Spirit is given by measure (only Jesus as a human being was given the Spirit 'without measure'). You can have more or less.

But I mean, higher centers, real will, understanding (subjective and objective) are all what you get from this connection with God. It all is part of the image of God. Like the Bible say, the angels never face away from God. That means they are in that gratitude connection with God always and it's how they relate to everything. A new mode of being for a new level of being.
