A central diagram

A further note on the diagram: And, it's important to see in that diagram as well that those spikes of effort are not, and are not supposed to be, 'normal behaviour.' They are as not-normal as running is to walking. I.e., walking around self-remembering is strange to do. It's not a normal state. It is effort. It's as strange as if you were to go to a shopping mall and start running up and down it and to every store you were going to while everybody else is doing the normal walking.
I say this because there is a sense regarding the act of self-remembering that it is strange behaviour -- and it IS. It's effort. An unusual state you are thrusting yourself into. An elevated state of awareness of yourself and your surroundings in the moment. It's supposed to be weird. But it is the only way to elevate your 'average state.' Which is the goal.
